What is your role at the company, and what do you love most about it?
My role is Event Manager at High 5 Events, a role I adore due to the diverse structure of each and every day and I simply just love sharing amazing destinations, venues and hotels with people.
What is one project or achievement you're particularly proud of?
I'm so proud to have worked in the events industry for around 30 years and over that time have been luckily to be involved with so many outstanding projects (alongside so many amazing people) it's so hard to pick one but I think that having a short break from the industry a few years ago and subsequently returning post covid when there had been significant changes in the industry feels like a great personal achievement.
What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?
It would start with a delicious dinner (preferable cooked for me!) and catch up with my husband and teenagers followed by a hot bath with essential oils and a good book (or in the summer months a nice dog walk with our Cockapoo who always needs to burn off some energy) then an evening on the sofa watching some reality TV (I am sucker for a things Big Brother, Love Island or Real Housewives!!)
What’s one thing on your bucket list?
I really, really, really want to one day stay in an 'over the water villa' in the Maldives, preferable with a butler and a slide directly into the sea. I've been lucky enough to swim with turtles which was such a beautiful experience I'd love to do it again.
Favourite destination/place in the world
I've got so many places I'd love to return to but city wise it has to be London where you never run out of new and exciting activities and restaurants to explore and I think we're blessed to have some of the best hotels in the world .... but I also adore Greece and have still so many islands I want to visit.
