What is your role at the company, and what do you love most about it?
As an Event Project Manager, I've been living and breathing this industry since my cap and gown days. And the best part? Hands down, it's the people. I get to meet and build lasting relationships with clients and guests, and work alongside a bunch of fun, hardworking, team-spirited, super lovely legends. It's truly the people that make this job so rewarding.
What is one project or achievement you're particularly proud of?
Oh, there are loads, but one that really stands out is the Land Rover Press Launch. I got to live on the groups of the ultra-exclusive Carnegie Vlub at Skibo Castle (yep, the one where Madonna tied the knot) for a whole month. It was February in the Scottish Highlands - think snow gates, gale-force winds, airport closures, press, celebrities and a whole lot of (fun and challenging) drama. But we pulled it off! And to top it all off, I got to fly back with the French press on a private jet from RAF Kinloss via Paris, then solo to Stanstead. Champagne was involved (just on the solo log, promise) and yes, I felt like a rock star.
What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?
Chilling in the garden or cozy pub with family, friends, my four-legged fur-baby, and a glass of Sancerre. Bliss.
What’s one thing on your bucket list?
The Maldives. I mean, who wouldn't want to kick back on powdery white sands, swim in crystal-clear waters and stay in one of those dreamy overwater villas? It's the kind of once-in-a-lifetime trip I've been daydreaming about forever - roll on 2027!
Favourite destination/place in the world
Ibiza! It's got everything - delicious food, lovely people, beach, sunshine and that unbeatable laid-back vibe. It's one of those places where everyday feels like a celebrations and the energy is just infectious.
