Medical and Healthcare Conference and Event Organiser
Hi, I’m Emma, Event Manager at High 5 Events. I have over 25 years’ experience, give or take a few years’ out to nurture my two girls or pursue other interests. Having studied Travel & Tourism at Uni (all those years ago!), I managed to land a role in the world of events as a proposal writer at a Performance, Marketing and Motivation agency. After writing countless incentive proposals and waving groups off around the world to stay in the finest hotels, enjoy ‘once in a lifetime’ experiences, I knew a role in Operations was for me.
Fast forward a (good) few years and I’ve been lucky enough to work in the automotive sector (launching cars to Global markets and Press all over the world), banking, insurance, airline and pharmaceutical industries.
What I love most about events…meeting new people and the opportunities this fab industry brings us.
Ooow, I love this question - I’ve just had colour analysis with an image consultant. I like anything in the Autumn colour palette – rich, warm, earthy, and vibrant tones.
My goal is to be a regular consumer of Sancerre! Why? Well, like me it’s reliable, loyal, a little complicated but very likable!
A Land Rover Defender – solid, reliable, hard-working and a little loud!
So many fun memories but one of my favourites has to be…living at private members club, Skibo Castle (where Madonna and Ashley Judd were married) for a month, getting snowed in, having to fly home with the French press from RAF Kinloss on a private jet via Paris, then solo onto Stansted. Yes, I felt like a rock star and yes, I had Champagne (but only on the solo leg)!
Waking to views over the Sydney Opera House, flying to Karratha in Western Australia, onto Cape Town and Vegas all in a week and whilst SARS was disrupting flights…driving over a glacier in Iceland…driving over an airport hangar…skiing in Whistler, sunset dinners on the beach in Mauritius to name a few.
I haven’t been there yet but know it will be my favourite place in the world when I do get there…the Maldives - I’m just waiting for kids to fly the nest for a bit of quality R&R!
