After 18 months of many virtual events of all shapes and sizes, it is just soooo brilliant for our team to be back on-site with a 3 day Summer Summit Meeting this week in sunny Cambridgeshire! Clients, hoteliers, crew and ourselves were simply delighted to be together, albeit in a covid-secure environment, and to see friends and colleagues again after being apart for so long! There was laughter and enthusiasm in abundance and a friendly level of competitiveness as everyone participated in ‘Whacky Races’; We’ve been lucky enough to be involved in many a team-build over the years but we have to congratulate the imagination, innovation and magical team spirit from all delegates this week … we’re still giddy from being with more than 6 people!
We are all aware of the Government’s direction to remove restrictions but appreciate organisations will have their own different plans. There may always be some hesitancy amongst participants in the short term but given the level of vaccinations, it now appears to give increased momentum to allow Companies to plan in-person events, increasing morale, reacquainting with colleagues and customers and simply being together again!
Thanks again for everyone’s ongoing support, with virtual, hybrid and in-person events … the future is looking increasingly buoyant and we can’t wait to see you all again, ideally face-to-face!
